Julie Marsden | First Grade Teacher
My Email: julie.marsden@washk12.orgJulie graduated from Weber State (go Wildcats!) in Early Childhood Education. She taught kindergarten for two years then became a mom and decided to quit teaching. When her children started leaving the nest, Julie returned to the classroom. This is her seventh year at Bloomington. She's taught Optional Extended Day Kindergarten and 1st Grade. She is married to her husband JC and has three daughters, one son, and a sweet Goldendoodle, Ollie the Wonder Dog. Julie enjoys cooking, traveling, and gardening and is a Utah Jazz fan!
She loves teaching because she learns so much and finds it exciting to watch her students learn and grow!
Jennilyn Wilcox | First Grade Teacher
My Email: jennilyn.wilcox@washk12.orgJennilyn has been teaching for 15 years. The first few years as a PE assistant while finishing up her school. She received her Master's Degree in Education from WGU. Jennilyn has been in the classroom for the last 12 years teaching grades 4, and 3, and is currently teaching 1st grade. She has lived in St. George for 23 years and has 3 kids and 3 grandkids. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, reading, or being outdoors either walking her dog, running or hiking.
Laurie Trujillo | First Grade Teacher

She graduated from Dixie College with an Associate's Degree and SUU with both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Elementary Education. She's been teaching since 2001, including a 3rd/4th split, 3rd grade, 2nd Grade, and now 1st Grade. She loves to read, and listen to audiobooks and music along with crafting.
Carolyn Zheng | First Grade Teacher

She has been involved with education for her entire career, having taught kindergarten, first, and fourth grade in the states, and seventh and ninth grade back in China. Carolyn loves teaching and wishes for your child to have the best experience of learning Chinese here at BES.
