2020-2021 PTA Fundraiser
It’s exciting…It’s fun…It’s our PTA “FUN”draiser! No product to buy! The purpose of this event is to raise money, but a Jog-a-Thon also promotes physical fitness, builds school spirit, instills a sense of accomplishment, and creates a fun and memorable way for our students to participate in supporting their education. Did you realize our PTA funds many programs at our school? Your contribution and participation are crucial. Reflections, Meet the Masters, Red & White Ribbon Week, Science Fair, and Read A Thons are just a few of the PTA sponsored programs that your student participates in. This year our goal is to earn money towards new chrome books. After quarantine, we had some Chromebooks returned damaged that we need to replace for our students that are still doing distance learning. We also need to provide our in-class learners with technology to help them grow. Please help us keep our wonderful PTA programs up and running!
EVERYONE PARTICIPATES! All students will participate on the day of the Jog-a-Thon whether they collect donations or not. Students will run/walk with their class at a specified time. We are looking for either flat donations or per lap pledges.
STUDENTS COLLECT DONATIONS! Collecting donations is easier than you think. The key is to ask! Flat donations are collected before the Jog-a-Thon and can be turned in anytime. “Per lap” pledges will be collected after the event and are based on how many laps the student completes.
We are asking each student to set a fundraising goal of $40 each. If you do not have time to raise money, please consider making a donation. This year we added a Jog-a-Thon section to our Memberhub for those who would rather make a donation online: Memberhub Jog-a-Thon Pledge Page. As always, fundraising and donating are optional but are the key to our success. Even a few dollars will add up quickly. 100% of the money raised will be used to support the children at our school!
The Jog-a-Thon will be held on October 9th at the school. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not able to have parents and siblings present during the run.
