Kara Manning | Speech Pathologist
My Email: kara.manning@washk12.orgMrs. Kara Manning earned her Master’s of Science Degree at Emerson College in Communication Disorders. She’s worked with all ages but currently loves working with school aged children! She’s been married to her high school sweetheart for 25 years and together they have five children, four daughters and one son. She enjoys yard work (weird, right?!!!), watching the Great British Baking Show, laughing, and Sunday dinners when all the family is under one roof…especially her darling, hilarious grandson! She is thrilled to work at Bloomington Elementary as the speech language pathologist and excited to have her amazing co-worker/SLT, Mrs. Cassie Champneys, join her.

Stacie Borden | Life Skills Para
My Email: stacie.borden@washk12.orgMs. Stacie grew up in Colorado. She and her family moved here to Saint George 12 years ago. Ms. Stacie has worked with kids since she was in high school, and only stopped working when she became a stay-at-home mom. She has a 17-year-old son, Alex, and a 10-year-old daughter, Ana. When her daughter started preschool, Ms. Stacie began to working as a paraprofessional. This will be her 7th year working as a para, and she is so excited to be a part of the BES family!

Becky Hamrick | Special Education Life Skills
My Email: rebecca.hamrick@washk12.orgMrs. Hamrick received her graduate degree in Special Education. For the last five years, she was a para in the Life Skills classroom at Arrowhead Elementary. She and her husband have four growing boys. Mrs. Hamrick loves hiking, kayaking, spending time with friends and family, and working with children!

Misha Ramirez | Life Skills Para
My Email: misha.ramirez@washk12.orgMs. Misha fell twenty times before standing successfully while trying paddleboarding this summer. Her backyard has twelve (12) chickens. They provide an egg selling business for her ten (10) year old daughter, Lily, and fresh eggs for the family table. Cucumber, onion, potatoes, and zucchini are ripening in the garden.
Ms. Misha is honored to join the team at Bloomington Elementary and meet the students!

Mavis Brown | Resource - Mild/Moderate
